Summer school 2024

1125

Just like every year, pupils aged 12 to 15 spent the week from July 18th to 22nd engaged in activities at the premises of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, organized by the association All4Science. At the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry, they enjoyed various interesting experiments. They produced hydrogen, observed the sublimation of iodine, measured different minerals with a dosimeter, and worked with various laboratory equipment. They also observed the effects of liquid nitrogen on materials such as a wood saw, an apple, a rubber hose, and more. They explored the secrets of Mars settlement and other fascinating topics. After a successful week full of science, fun, and discovery in a playful way, we invite all bright young scientists to join us again next year.
