Institute of Inorganic Chemistry of the Slovak Academy of Sciences (Department VILA, Trenčín) is announcing a selection procedure for the position of Independent Research Scientist with qualification VKS IIa in the field of high-entropy oxide ceramics.

 

Information about the position / Job description:

• Conduct high-quality research in the field of high-entropy oxide ceramics.
• Perform in-depth analysis and interpretation of experimental data.
• Lead and coordinate the project team (task allocation, quality control of outputs, motivation).
• Prepare, submit, and implement research projects (national and international grant schemes).
• Publish the achieved results in high-impact journals.
• Present the obtained results at international conferences.
• If required, supervise PhD students, Master’s students, and visiting students.
• Actively participate in the research projects of the Institute.
• Identify new research directions based on the achieved results.
• Prepare opponent reviews of doctoral theses and review manuscripts for scientific journals and conferences.
