Open day at institute

On November 12, 2024, an Open Day was held at our Institute. Dozens of high school students had the opportunity to look into the research and microcosm of various materials and discover what incredible details these materials hide. Students had the opportunity to see the laboratories and equipment. Our young scientists showed them the measurements on the devices or informed them about the research at our institute in an entertaining way. In an engaging lecture, they learned about ceramic materials capable of withstanding extreme temperatures and their use in space shuttles or ceramic replacements for bones and joints.
